BRC ERC
BRC (Basic Rider Course) Requirements
Everyone:
Ability to ride a bicycle is highly recommended (indicator of ability to balance a two-wheeled vehicle). Students deficient in balance may have difficulty controlling a motorcycle.
Age 15 to 18:
Must provide proof of an unrestricted driver's license or an instructional permit.
Student equipment required (to be furnished by student):
Helmet:
May use own helmet if DOT approved and accepted by the instructor. Helmets are available for loan.
Eye protection:
Face shield on personal helmet, sunglasses or corrective lenses are acceptable.
Clothing:
Long sleeve shirt and/or jacket and non-flared denim type or equivalent long pants.
Gloves:
Full fingered gloves. Leather motorcycle gloves are best. Cotton work gloves available for loan.
Footwear:
Sturdy shoes/boots that cover the ankle and have slip resistant soles.
Registration:
Basic course is limited to twelve students. Cost is $195.
Refund policy:
Course payment is non-refundable. In cases of failure to complete the course for any reason, a refund will not be issued. Cancellation given with time for another student to take your place will allow us to use your fee for a future class.
ERC (Experienced Motorcycle Course) Requirements
Admission requirements:
Must have a current motorcycle (Class M) drivers license.
Must provide his or her own motorcycle that meets the all requirements for operation on public highways. May use a borrowed motorcycle is written permission from the owner is provided.
Must have proof of adequate insurance coverage available for inspection by the lead course instructor.
Student equipment required (to be furnished by student):
Helmet:
Helmet must be DOT approved and accepted by the instructor.

Clothing:
